In The Field: Winter Light
Subtle
Not So Subtle
Sunsets in the winter season are so varied. The first photo was taken this time last year and the second one was taken last week. Both photos were taken from the same spot looking in the same direction.
This season has been exceptional as far as intensely bright sunsets go. Some I have photographed and others I have just gazed in awe. It’s good to do that on occasion.
They are both so beautiful dear David. But you know if you take the sunset photograph everyday and in the same place won’t be same… never. This is the magical beauties of nature life… Always so exciting. Thank you, and I am so glad to see you back. Love, nia
So true Nia…sunsets and sunrises are like snowflakes…no two are exactly alike. It has been a very long time but it’s good to be back!
You’re back!! I am so glad.
Beautiful photos. I like the colors and that ray of light.
Thank you Cornell, they sure have been beautiful this season! And some have been very long lasting.
Howdy stranger! Nice view you got there 🙂
Hey there kiddo! Not a bad view indeed. The sunrises have been beautiful this year also.
Good to see ya back!
Welcome back to the photosphere, David! Great shots and so good to see your work again. Have missed your blog.
Thanks John, it’s great to be back. Yesterday I was reviewing some older posts…I wrote some pretty good stuff there LOL.
You DID write some pretty good and interesting “stuff.” Yours is a quality blog and has been missed.
Thank you for the kind words John.
What an interesting contrast! Such beautiful colours.
Lovely to see you back. Hope all is good with you and yours.
They sure were pretty. Great to be back and all is well on the home front!
Very beautiful, David!
I posted sunset pictures today and here I found some more. 🙂
