IN THE FIELD: Frosty Windows
Spring may be right around the corner…at least according to the calendar. But just the other morning when I went outside to warm up the Jeep, Mother Nature said winter is still here.
Luckily for me the sun had just risen above the horizon and I was able to capture this display of ice diamonds on the passenger window.
Neat! It looks like skinny evergreens peaking through the frost, and the sunrise adds wonderful coloring! ❤
Yes it was pretty neat. I love looking at the various shapes that form from frost.
Nice colours – and I like that diagonal shaft of light going through the sun 🙂
Apparently I was there starting the jeep at just the right time! Luck of the draw I suppose. Sure was chilly/freezing that morning!
If spring is around the corner, where is that corner????
First go four blocks east, turn left and walk past Wilmas home, turn right past the coffee shop, make another right and walk past the display of snow shovels at the store and then head south. Or west…maybe southwest would be best.
Ice diamonds are pretty but I bet you will be happy when you have seen the last of them. 😀
