IN THE FIELD: It’s A Jungle Out There
It was a long way up there, and the views were terrific… but I have to say it was a relief to be back on the ground.

A little jungle!
Hmm. Interesting image! It seems to be a pot with some flowers (just look at those leaves and how they join to the stems).
Anyway, a good one. Nice.
Thanks Cornell, when I saw this plant in a greenhouse it reminded me of tall trees in a tropical jungle. Guess I didn’t fool you huh.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh green other than pine trees 🙂
True, not much green this time of year…but it’s coming soon!
Yes it is!
You are NOT going to tell me that you just shot this in Pennsylvania in FEBRUARY!
Actually it was in Belize…or Borneo…or Brazil…or was it the Bahamas. Maybe it might have been in Barbados or Bolivia. Just can’t remember. Warm climate theme going on here.
I think it is a variety of Ming Aralia and was about 5 feet across and at least that tall.
Ha! I just read your comment above that it was in a GREENHOUSE (and that you are not the “forgetful” world traveler you made out to be). 🙂
Gorgeous green color!
Sure was lots of green color along with beautiful orchids in this greenhouse. It’s helps the mind to see things like this in the winter.
Wonderful green!
