IN THE FIELD: Coming Soon!

lr_dhphotositeDSC_4033

It’s been cold and snowy for a lot of folks this season. After all, it is winter. We still have quite a bit of snow on the ground and according to the calendar, Spring is right around the corner.

As much as I enjoy winter, I really can’t wait for warmer weather. So I decided to look through the archives to find a reminder of the up and coming season. I chose this shot which I had taken while on a shoot for a local country club last Spring.

Thanks Jane, speaking of warming the heart and soul…it made it to 62 degrees yesterday! After the storm blows through tonight (wind, rain and some snow) it will be more seasonal again.

Most of the snow is gone…we can see lawn! It’s not nearly as green as in the photo…but it’s lawn LOL!

Thanks Meanderer, the groundskeeping crew did a fabulous job at this golf course. The head keeper told me they planted 3000 tulips around the clubhouse! It was glorious! I wonder what is in store for this spring….

Isn’t it heartwarming to see blossom? We are getting some for real now and it is beautiful! 🙂

I really can’t wait to see the re-birth this year…it’s been a long winter. We should start to see snow drops soon and the the earth comes alive!!!

That’s a happy image! I know it’s coming…we just have to keep the faith.

Thanks Lee, it’s nice to feel the warming trend. Although it is still odd, for me at least, to see folks in shorts and sneakers when there are still giant piles of snow around. It’s supposed to become more seasonal after tonight. Chilly mornings and temperate afternoons…yay!

After seeing the ground for a week, we had an inch of snow last night. Your “Walk Down Blossom Lane” is a sight for snow-blinded eyes! –John
