IN THE FIELD: Not Your Ordinary…
Last Thursday I was out shopping in one of the local stores in the area and discovered these brightly colored objects. I have never seen these ordinary, utilitarian, useful, and handy items in such vibrant colors. They brought a smile to my face and I had to get a photo. This shot was taken with my iPhone.
Cool shot, David! Talk about looking past the surface to see something different.
My guess is buckets of some type?
DING DING DING that’s it. They were buckets in the paint aisle of the hardware store. All of them were super bright colors!
Good eye there! Who knew buckets could be so colorful 🙂
I know…who woulda thought. I think there were seven different colors…I have to get a shot or two with the big camera.
Gorgeous vibrancy here 🙂
Boy they sure are…hot pink, teal, electric green, vibrant blue, bright red, and forest green.
Well spotted! I love the colours and shapes. A great photo!
Thanks Jo, there were two stacks of these buckets at the end of an aisle. They really stood out among all the cans of paint on the shelves. I saw them and thought “how cool is this!”
Looks like BUCKETS of fun. Great capture! Make for a vibrant abstract.
Happy Thanksgiving, David!
I almost couldn’t CONTAIN myself when I saw them. Pretty neat huh!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family John!
I was wondering if these were sleds. Good eye and nice capture, David.
Now that you mention it…they do look like sleds. Not only does this hardware store sell paint buckets….but they have sleds also! Flexible Flyers made of wood. Just like when we were kids. It’s an old fashioned hardware store that carries just about everything you could think of.
Fascinating abstract! They look very cool!
I have to say, these were the most colorful buckets I have ever seen. I would love to have at least one of each…just because.
I love that you have your camera with you when shopping. Best looking paint buckets I seen…as colorful as the paint that will go inside them.
Aren’t they the coolest?! This hardware store I visit and is like an old time store. They have the neatest stuff…even candy from our youth. Remember Turkish Taffy? My camera is like an extra appendage LOL. You just never know what new discoveries are out there.
Incredible shot! Love the colours, pink and blue always goes nicely together 🙂
Thanks Kristina,,,best looking buckets I have ever seen!
